Originally published as Millionnaries en herbe. Paul Berna (Jean-Marie-Edmond Sabran) (1908-1994) was a French writer of childrens books and occassional SF and detective stories.
Of particular interest is the Brian Wildsmith cover design, vividly coloured versions of the pen and ink interior illustrations. Puffin book cover design of the period various a great deal, much of it rather leaden and uninspired, but Wildsmith is a cut above.
